    Found DMZ to public IP 210.xx.221.xx...


    Is this bad???

    I never put it there, but have disabled it now!

    There's nothing special about an IP address in inherently; unless your logic of IP address assignments makes it so. The DMZ is used to have Internet-facing machines be physically in your building, but logically outside your network. This is accomplished via a firewall (either on your internal network or both internal and DMZ networks.) The addresses of the machines there are often routable addresses but could be NAT translated at the router/firewall as well.

    So, to answer your question, no, there's nothing bad about that address being in the DMZ from a design point of view. However, depending on your network setup it may not follow your process.

    I didnt enter this address in the DMZ on the router. I had the DMZ disabled and then found that IP in there one day
