Hi All Experts,
I need help regarding networking computers. I have 8 computers networked.
2 of them running Windows 2000 SP 4 (lets say PC1 & PC2)
2 of them running Windows XP SP 2 (lets say PC3 & PC4)
Rest 4 are on Windows 7 (PC5, PC6, PC7 & PC8)
PC1, PC2, PC3 & PC4 are reading data from PC5, PC6, PC7 & PC8.
Now what I want to do that, PC1, PC2, PC3 & PC4 continue to read data from PC5, PC6, PC7 & PC8 but these 4 computer (PC5, PC6, PC7 & PC8) couldn't read the data from in between in simple words these 4 PCs (PC5, PC6, PC7 & PC8) that are running Windows 7, couldn't interlink and read data.
Please help me in this regards,
Thanks in advance.

Can you explain what you mean with "read data"? what does it read? how does it read it?

Windows 7 has Public folders, in which I made a folder and they read data from that folders.
We have photo printing machines that are running Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and they read the pictures from computers that are running Windows 7.

Have you tried to login to the systems and manually checked that you can access those folders?
Any event or service log that can give you an hint of what is wrong?
You have checked that the public folder sharing is enabled?

Nothing wrong in it.
Public Sharing is enabled and 4 PCs can access Win 7 PCs.
I just want that only 4 PCs those are with machines could access the Win 7 computers but Win 7 computers couldn't access each other computers.

That is because Windows 7 and 8 use different authentication and security settings when communicating on a LAN than XP and 2000 do. Try the instructions in this article and let us know if it helps.
Windows 2000 and windows XP: send LM & NTLM responses
Windows Server 2003: Send NTLM response only
Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2: Send NTLMv2 response only.
