agntsrvc.exe error on startup

Dear All,

I have just installed the Oracle9i Database today, everything seems okey, but after I reboot my machine for a few time, it tells me that the agntsrvc.exe is failed to run... anyone know what is going wrong?

Since I installed it for doing homework, I now just waiting and waiting for any support...

Thank you very very much.

PoYeah

The problem MAY BE

Dear All,

I have tried my best to find out the problem. It seems that my original Apache HTTP Server 2.0.48 crashed with the Oracle HTTP Server!

When I turn off the Appache2 server, and restart my computer again, all the services of the Oracle can work normally. (it is still okay until now)

If I find out this is not the problem of the Apache2 in future, I will try to reply to here again.

Thank you

PoYeah

Hi,

I am having the same problem but only with our Windows XP machines. Did you ever get an answer to this one. I have been on the Oracle and Microsoft sites and have found little of value. Any help would be appreciated.

agntsrvc.exe error on startup

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I am using Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. I've uninstalled my Oracle programs that I had on my computer. I've downloaded Spyware programs but it doesn't fix it. I also have the Ad-Aware program which still didn't help because it still has the error. My Norton Anti-Virus Auto-Protect gets disabled and I'm not able to go online with that computer. Does anybody know what to do? Or where to go online for an answer? I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks, -Adam
