Alter session

hi friends,

I am happy with last answer.
I am doing alter session set NLS_DATE_FORMAT='MM-DD-YYYY' in TOAD.

I need the date in the above format. When i am inserting 50,000 records into table its working fine.I am getting correct date format.

When i am trying to insert more data i.e more than 50,000 records .There is a problem with date format.
Exld data contains date 1943 ,after inserting to new table
i am getting date as 2043.

Please help me in this process. Is any other process for this????
