AQ max retry not correct

Hi,

I use AQ and configure the max retry to 20 and delay 0 seconds, but AQ only retry up to 5 times, then stop, doing nothing, message still remain inside the queue.

If i configure the max retry to 20 and delay 60 seconds, but AQ only retry up to 5 times, then stop, doing nothing, message still remain inside the queue, and the lock is holding the table that message try to update!!! and lock remain few hours,

Any idea how to solve this problem???
