Check datatype in Oracle
Hi, i'm totally new to Oracle and i find out is quite hard to use compare with SQL Server as Oracle all is using command line. I want to know is it possible to check the datatype of specific column using command line? Coz i want to check a column datatype in the table. I really don't have any idea for it compare with SQL Server where have the UI, it can be check under the properties. Do anyone what command line i need to run in order to check the datatype.
Thanks ![]() |

Use TOAD free and commercial or the client tools supplied by Oracle (client install).
