Hi,

I am facing one Problem. I have 2 oracle Databases with different versions. One in 9.2 with AR8ISO8859P6 Character set and other in 7.1 with US7ASCII Character Set. I need to Update arabic data from 9.2 to 7.1 db. While I am updating only garbage values are coming. Can U provide one solution that Converting AR8ISO8859P6 to US7ASCII written in C or in PROC or any other.

Not possible. A 7 bit encoding can never store an 8 bit encoding.
