How to display row number?
hello everyone, i am having troubles on displaying the row number of the records i retrieve when i execute query.... I'm using a tabular format... i want to display the corresponding row number per record... its just like this i have the row no, name, id... if my query retrieves 21 records, i want my row no column to display
row no name id
1 -------- -----
2 -------- -----
just like that... can anyone help me on this case... i need an answer as soon as possible... pls. email me for your answers..

by the way, i am using oracle form builder for that...

Use Oracle's ROWNUM (Google for it) like
SELECT ROWNUM, col1, col2 FROM TABLE

Add ROWNUM to your query as a new column.

ROWNUM in FORMS
You can achieve that by adding new item named 'ROWNUM'. in the Data Block you are working on.
And it's 'BASE TABLE ITEM' property needs to be set as TRUE'.
