This may seem like a dumb question, but I am used to Web Programming and Java, so this whole Oracle forms thing is a new world for me. How on earth do you get the value of a selected element in a Tlist or combo box? Or rather, how do you get the selected index property of the selected element in a list. Please help, this is vry frustrating.

Hi
Use block_name.item_name to get the selected value. This would give you the list item value that you gave in the element list. Cheers.. Kumar. |
