Grant execute fails for dbms_pipe, etc
Hi,
We use Oracle 9i in my office. The problem is that for a certain application, we are required to give Grant execute on dbms_pipe, dbms_alret, dbms_lock, among many others, to the schemas being used.
On trying to grant these 3 priviledges, the system times out, and the grant fails.
We have tried shutdown and startup of the database but to no avail.
Can anyone help pls??!
