are you trying to bypass the 11i authentication and use some custom code to submit your UN/PW?

i am really passing a connection string, ie the report name, the username/password of the schema, and report printing attributes. I am not sure where in the config files it specifies using the database auth screen?

Unhappy

Ok. I am running an application and using oracle reports to print the reports. When the user requests a report it uses the url specified in the reports config files. However it keeps bringing up the database auth screen before loading the report. very irritating and the documentation does not really give much help. The users are cracking, and so am I
