How to exit from Form without validation

I had used a When-Validate-Item trigger against an text item.

Also i had a push button (EXIT) for Exiting from the Form with code : Exit_Form(no_validation);

But if an invalid text is entered in the Text-Item and after that if i use the EXIT push Button then it doesnot exit from the Form till a valid text is entered inside the Text-Item.

Can anyone say how to Exit from Form even if the Text-Item has Invalid Value.

I have the same problem, trying to call_form from a multiple canvas, I tried to clear_form first and still cant get back to my switchboard, should be a simple way to achieve this, because everyone must have the same problem and it would confuse the hell out of most users..

Try this.. in forms builder select your datablock items.. (not buttons) e.g. shift select, then right click -> properties and set the required field to NO.

still doesnt fix my problem but it does kill the required validation..
