Importing MS Access data to oracle
I have MS Access data on various machine. I want to import that data to Oracle after regular intervals, so that a centralised database can be maintained(a replica of various databases runnning on MS Access)
Plz suggest me how can this be achieved. Thanks |

Link to the Oracke tables through Access by using the Get External Data wizard on the File Menu, or import them at regular intervals and save each database as a copy. That is just my suggestion. There are also ways to automate this process, but it is difficult.

That is the other way around.
The question is how to export several MS Access databases into a single Oracle DB on a regular basis automatically. Greetings |

Great question. I just started this new job and they want to perform this action. Their client has over 100 Access databases which are pretty much identical and they want automate the process for which they are importing the access tables into Oracle. If you have any ideas please let me know. Literally we are talking over 15 tables per database. Thanks. |
