hi,
oracle offers their software for download for purposes of non-profit and non-production use right? i am planning to download it for learning purposes, but the problem is... there are lots of large files to download. i don't know which one would i need if i am going to download the 10g, which of those found on the download page should i get? btw, i am using linux... |

You should start reading http://www.puschitz.com/OracleOnLinux.shtml, the 10g downloads are found on this page you should be fine with ship.db.cpio.gz
