What platform are you installing on
What 'wierd' messages are you getting?

I'm not an Oracle person, but you'll have to be more informative if anyone is going to be able to help you

windows xp pro
oracle9i

the funny thing is i could install it the first time... but i uninstalled it... and deleted afterwards all the oracle folders...but i used the uninstalle option

the message i get are something like .... can't install a file "XXX" ignore, retry or cancel.... if i click on help they suggest the hd is full and there is not enough space to install it. I still have 40 GB free..

i think something went wrong the first installation...registry entries from the first install are maybe blocking something..
