request sqlldr date formatting help
Hi! I am trying to import data from a CSV (exported from sybase) into Oracle via sqlldr.
In my control file, I have specified the date format thusly: Quote:
In the CSV file, the date looks like this: Quote:
When I run it against sqlldr, it says this in the logfile: ORA-01843: not a valid month What does it think is going on that I am not seeing? thanks for any help! |

well, sorry about that. I have solved it by removing the double-quotes around my date fields (Even though the quotes don't interfere with any other fields -- I used
