Simple Q - How to store Blobs
Does anyone know of a good site explaining how to store and retrieve blobs?
I'm developing a Java application over a tomcat webserver that's purpose is just to store user info and documents they want stored. But I haven't done SQL in a looong time so I'm basically new to it again and have no clue as to how to go about storing these docs as blobs. It has to be blobs rather than stored on the filesystem because of our company standards, so that option is ruled out. Thanks! |

Going Out for the LOB
This can best be answered with a link. Its like a 30 pager or so.
http://www.revealnet.com/pipelines/...ives.htm#code12 look for "Going Out for the LOB" by Mike Ault. I was lucky enough to have him on site, and he pointed me to this when we first started using LOB Segments. |
