Truncate a long?
Is there anyway to truncate a long column in an sql statement? i know you not a llowed to use any of the built in functions from Oracle, but i need to find a sneaky way to limit the amount returned for a CF website.
Unfortunetly, i can't change the column type. |

You probably should create a stored procedure like this one - GETLONG -
