    Hi,

I have installed Oracle on XP and it's quite easy - all wizard driven.

I have mine running on a 2.5Ghz PC with 750MB RAM. It does need a lot of RAM if your running Oracle Ent Edition. I would suggest 512MB at least.

You should be able to find some nice PDF's about installing it on OTN http://otn.oracle.com or from Oracle Metalink if you have Oracle support.
