A free taste test (with Scheme).
I've written a short article (of sorts) that shows some of the power macros can give you; they're the part of Lisp which I know the least about, and they could be the most powerful part
.Of course without the rest of the language itself macros wouldn't be worth that much. Macros have to expand into something. It's located on my blog, but in an effort not to repeat myself I'm just going to link to it here. http://netytan.blogspot.com/2006/09/free-taste-test-record-macro.html What do you think? Thanks much guys. Mark. Last edited by netytan : September 16th, 2006 at 05:32 PM. |

Very cool stuff. However, I'll need to learn more Scheme before I understand the last part. (I just get the idea, not how it works.)
I had to read the first example a few times before I got it. I had never thought of it that way before, but it's natural for everything to be a function, isn't it? |
