Homework - Java Fibonacci test

This program records the amount of time necessary to run each Fibonacci functions to compare their running times in a Java applet.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Well, my first suggestion is to ask the mods to move this to the Java forum

Beyond that, we'd need to know what you've already got, and what you need help with. Do you know how to write the Fibonacci function, and have you done so already? Do you know how to use the JVM Profiling API and other timing/profiling tools? What has your professor given you to work with?

I would finally reiterate the standard disclaimer that We Will NOT Do Homework For You. Show a bit of due diligence to us and you will get a lot more in the way of advice. Learning a bit about asking questions effectively will go a long way as well.

Fibonacci

The Fibonacci sequence runs fine and the code works. Yesterday I got the applet to run as a standalone application. When I reopened NetBeans to play with this some more it stopped working. The Error is a signed software:

#### Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system
Unsigned resource: file:/C:/blah...blah.../Tradetimer/dist/Tradetimer.jar

I don't recall how I got this to run as an applet. I just kept tinkering around and it finally worked - that is until I reopened NetBeans and tried to adjust the program so it couldn't be resized (similar to VB). It wouldn't allow this. At any rate, I've turned the two programs in for a grade. Perhaps Professor will figure it out and comment on it.

Thank you for the guidance. I'm unfamiliar with this forum. It's overwhelming (te he, LOL).

Digita
