VBA to read from PDF

Hello,

I've been looking into this for awhile now and am just looking for some clarification. I am currently working a specified report at work and am trying to work on a vba macro to read data from a pdf and spit out account numbers on word/excel.

I've asked around and I've been told that if I have the correct adobe type library this could be possible. Now, my workplace has security on lockdown. I am unable to download any type of converting software from adobe to help out this process so I am wanting to create this macro instead of looking through thousands of account numbers with my eyes.

Is this possible? can I create this without having any type of outside source to help?

If you need a piece of software to do your job, the company should provide it. If they refuse to provide it, then you cannot do your job.
