You'll be writing small programs in an assembly like language for small chips. For a TV you'd need to reprogram it's ROM chip (by replacing it with a reprogrammable one).

This would be fun. Do you have to code in binary or something?

thanks

i got the idea playing a little game that is embedded in my tv menu(mind you it's 25$/new 20sth" screen chinese Tv)
the game is a tictactoe kind of game in really basic grafic (atari like) what stoke me was that i was interacting in a game that had the tv bacground (so i sould whatch and play at the same time)

now take this, instead of the tictactoe game you set a gun shooting game(duckhunt style) but with only an aim and abullet hole where you shoot at. so when you take the gun from the coffee table you could shoot at your favorite ben afflect or the ****ing news reader that annoys you on a redular base or even just to pass the comercial a little bit faster.

my issue is that i don't think that you could accomplish that fro outside the tv (the gun the adaptor) my guess is that it would have to be implented in the tv chip and i m sure hitachi doesn't really care for stoned head killing game in there new flat screen tv menu!!!!!

anyway i m looking at the site you linked me and see if i can get an answer. thanks
