I know that it is possible to set up CGI scripts on Windows NT servers, but need some information on how it is done. If anybody has any web sites or instructions on setting them up it would be very much appreciated. I know all about setting them up on a UNIX server but need to know how to do it on an NT server.

Hi its been a long time and this is from memory-
download perl from activestate.com for windows - install it (winmail was also a good sendmail equivalent) you also need to go to the registry and do this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE System Services W3Svc Parameters Script Map right click on Script Map new String Value in the new value area type in .pl then double click on it a box will appear add this to the value data C:Perlbinperl.exe %s %* you can do the same for .cgi This is from memory and I don't have NT any more so I'm afraid this is the best I can do for you. |
