We'll need a bit more information than that

If windows, you could interrogate using WMI, or similar

You can also package your script into an executable with perl built into it

Again - requirements, and be specific

Some people, when confronted with a problem, think "I know, I'll use regular expressions." Now they have two problems.

Are these machines on the same lan, is snmp installed, is it a domain, exactly what data are you after etc, etc ... be specific

    I can

    Communicating with remote system

    Hi,,

Some protocol like SMTP is used for communication.I need to fetch

monitoring details of the remote system like the memory page out

rate, cache memory details etc.Earlier it was done through agent

and now my requirement is to automate the thing using scripting in

    management node.

Here I think I can go with SNMP but not sure how to proceed..

Kindly help me in this regards.
