MIDI generation...

Does anyone know how to write MIDI files in perl?
I have seen a library for that, but the bad thing is that I cannot install it on my server (they don't allow it) and I cannot get it to work on my own computer with the windows-port of Perl....

PHP would do too

I am wondering, because I have a site with ringtones (you know, for mobiles), and I'd like to create MIDIs for the visitors so they can preview it.
