    Problem with Padre on Ubuntu 9.10

    I write a file on Padre and when i try running it i receive the following error:
    No execution mode was defined for this document.
    Even if i try executing a blank file i get the same error.
    Does anybody knows a way to fix this problem?

    How are you 'running it'?

    1) Try adding a 'shebang line' to the top of your file:

    #!/usr/bin/env perl
    (or try the actual path to perl on your computer)

    2) Try making the file executable:

    $ chmod a+x prog1.pl
