hello all,
i am new to this thing and have no idea abt perl,....tried reading up somethings...and ended up getting codes for applications. well, right now i have a problem..... 1) i have no idea where to get the perl software frm web..i mean which one shud i download and how do i install it on the PC? 2)for application purpose , must i install perl on the server on which my website resides? how do i get cgi bin on my server-------really blur!!! 3)on the application programs that i have got....i have been asked to place them in the cgi-bin to run...but how do i get the cgi in the 1st place i am sorry if these Qs are too petty...cant help it!! i have to start somewhere do help!!!!! regards kats

What kind of Operating SYstem are you using? Which web-server?
