An advantage of sending data to a script using the POST method in an HTML form is that it's not visible in the URL and therefore not modifiable by the user.
Is there a way to accomplish the same thing from a perl script, without having to use a form, other than with a cookie? For example, I know that you get data submitted with the POST method by reading from STDIN. Is perl able to put information so that it can be read in another perl script from STDIN? Thanks. Rick |
