Temporary web page creation?

Supposing you had a file on your web page that you only wanted people to pay for. the idea being once a sum is payed then they can download the file (such as an mp3..etc.)

So, lets assume the credit card stuff is already figured out, and so if an invalid card is entered the script dumps them to a suitable error page. In the event that a valid cc is entered, however, we will want to move the file from a hidden Password protected directory and place it in such a way to be temporarily accessible through a temporary web page How would you write a script to do this? Any ideas?

Why not give them a username/password to get into a protected area and when they downlaod the file remove their access.

Write a downloader script. Be sure to
set the Content-type right.
