Hello.

    I am running an email script. I take in a variable to the script in the format <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica">code:</font><HR><pre>datera@datera.com
I need to use this in a mail function like this:
    <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica">code:</font><HR><pre>print MAIL "To: datera@datera.comn";
How can I add the before the @???
    I have tried <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica">code:</font><HR><pre>$var =~ s/@/@;
but it returns errors.

    Thank you.

    you can try the following..

    $email=~ s/@/@/;
    #substitue @ with @..

    print $email;
