    Yeah, I've just downloaded ActivePerl 616 for Windows. But how do I test my Perl-scripts, (not double-clicking the icon)..

    You go down in MS-DOS prompt and type perl nameofthescript...

    Then you probably didn't add perl in your PATH. Try to cd to the directory in which perl resides (probably cerl) and then cd to the bin sub-directory. For example:

    cd perl
    cd bin
    perl nameofyourscript

    What is the exact message returned after failure???
