ACK! Filters disappearing?
I've just installed Photoshop CS, and the filter for brush strokes, sketch, texture, and video are all greyed out - I can't access them. What's going on?

Maybe it's something simple like you don't have anything pulled up that they can be used on.

No, I fear I tested that option; I even made new images from scratch to see if that made a difference, and I fear it did not. |

image ...adjustments...rgb color, your filters will work then. |

Also make sure you are creating your new image in 8 bit instead of 16 bit (something like that). IIRC i had probs with that in CS when i first installed it. half the filters won't show up in 16.
