Acrobat: Preserve Field Names?

I converted an HTML form to a PDF form using Acrobat 5.05. However, I noticed that the field names did not carry over from the HTML form. Basically the form field names in the PDF are garbage (ex. LJHGNOFGIGAOPCONJMFLBNELJKIEFFJE.form1.x.f68). Is there a way to preserve the field names so they match when I convert the html to PDF?
