Adding background to extracted person...
Hi,
I have extracted a person from a photo using filter/extract and then highlighting using the marker pen and created an extracted image file on LAYER 0. I then try to open the photo I want to use as background. When I open the file browser and drag the background file onto my extracted document it simply opens a new window for that file. I'm expecting the background to appear over my extracted image on its own layer but it doesn't. Can anyone help me. Thanks. (using Photoshop 7 ) |

After you open the image you want moved to your other file - select your Marquee tool (upper left icon on your tools window), and select the whole image or the area you want moved. Then you can either copy/paste or click your Move tool from your tools window (upper right icon) and drag your selection to the other file.
