Hi everybody
![]() First of all, great portal here! I hope i can contribute with my knowledge sometime Alright, down to my question... Even tho I've been working with Adobe Photoshop since version 5.5 I still lack the knowledge of making more advanced paths. So far i can make simple paths by using the Pen tool, however i've come to a point where i wanna make a path looking like a tatoo, so i can use it in my webgraphics without having to worry about pixels getting smudgy when resizing. I have severel times downloaded custom shapes for my Photoshop, and i see it's do-able, but i just don't know how - and I was hoping one of you could help me? If you have doubts regarding what i mean let me know, and i'll link to an example ![]() |

Not sure about other versions, but in CS (I think it is the same in 7 too) I do it like this:
1. Draw my shape with the pen tool or however you want to make the path. 2. Go: Edit > Define Custom Shape... 3. Give your shape a name and click OK You will now find the shape at the bottom of your list of custom shapes when using the "Custom Shape" Tool. Hope this is what you were after Cheers ![]() |

Yes that much i know - however... I have 2 images, ex like 2 letters. I wanna merge both to make a logo, and that creates little holes here and there, making it impossible for me to draw the path in 1 stroke. Now, i am standing with 2 diffrent paths that i dunno how to combine into one...
Do you know how? <-- I'm running CS, and i looked everywhere for a tutorial explaning this but still i've had no luck finding one... :/ |

Try holding shift when making next selection.

Making a selection isen't what i am looking for - i am looking to combine 2 individual paths into 1 path - keeping the vektor.
