Its about using masking and blending ,, also using level and colormanipulation to give the yellowish effect.
Try some tutorials like:

You'll find that you will need to master blending masking and such to gain good effects, just have fun with it.. Also use google to search on Dark arts tutorials they use these effect alot!!
