Applying a gradient - im missin something simple?
hi
All im tryin to do is create a rectangle with a gradient on it starting with blue and finishing with light blue. I create the canvas, then new layer, then rounded rectangle then when i try and put a gradient on it it wont let me telling "the content of the layer is not directly editable? i must be missing something dead simple? Anyone help me please? Cheers Harv |

Gradient shape fill solution...

Hello... All you do is convert the shape to a selection (click on the little dotted circle at the bottom center of your paths pallet) and then you can gradate your shape all day long! After you make the shape you can always edit it with the direct and path selelction tools. Hope this helps. -Don |
