auto arrange ?
i have a few layers of pictures....and i wanted to grid them ... like on a pc arrange icons and all of them fall into place... is there anyway to do this in photoshop ... 7 ? it should be more evenly placed then me manually placing them...

Link them all together and select the Move tool. Then click one of the buttons in the Options bar labelled "Distribute" (to the right).

Sure.
The thing to keep in mind is that Photoshop layers are not like file icons. Layers are simply data arranged in a file, while icons actually represent those files and thus need an easy way display. Layers are a bit more flexible, so you shouldn't think of them the same way you think of icons. |
