blinkies/animated avatars/animated buttons tutorials

hi

just wondering if you guys could give me any good tutorial sites for making good looking, blinkies, animated avatars & animated gif's (ie: 80x30 buttons for link exchanges, fanlistings & cliques)

i use photoshop..... of course.. i want to make them for link exchanges & stuff for the people who like that kinda thing & i'm kinda clueless on making them. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

also, if you know of any special effects for gif's, i'd appreciate those links, too.. and of course, feel free to send any other tutorial sites you like.

What's up with all the smileys?

You can't make animated GIF's with PhotoShop, but you can with ImageReady (which comes with all 6.0+ versions).

A simple Google search for "How to make animated GIFS" produces the following results: http://www.google.com/search?source...e+animated+GIFS

the smileys?... i'm just happy... and i think smiley faces are cute, so i like to use them a lot. :-P i'm a very expressive person.

and yes, i know i can't make animated stuff in photoshop & you have to use image ready, sorry for the confusion. lol but image ready comes with photoshop, so... and i am also aware of how to do searches online.. but the point of this thread is that i wanted to see what sites you guys liked the best, that are image ready/photoshop related as i'm doing my own search for tutorial sites. just in case i missed something, or you have a really nifty site to show or something like that. y'know what i mean?.... besides.. most of the tutorial sites i've found are for PSP, PhotoImpact & MS Paint... and i need image ready/photoshop tutorials.
