Brushing Help
Ok, I am a newb at photoshop and everytime I use my brushes they are always white. Some one said that if I changed my foreground colors it would change the color of the brush but that isnt working. Thanks for the help.
BTW, I am using PS 7.0 |

There're alot of obsticles that can stand between you and even the simpliest of actions in Photoshop at times.
One I can think of at the moment is to make sure that you're in RGB Color rather than Grayscale mode. Go to Image, Mode, and verify the correct is checked. Hope that helped some, g'luck. |

You don't happen to be working on a layer that has an effect like Color Overlay or Gradient Overlay, do you? |

Nope, I open an image, create a new layer, then when I brush its always white no matter what....

did you select the new layer before you began to brush? is the transparency set to 100? are you using solid brushes?

sometimes PS will retain the last settings that you used even when you restart the program... and by solid brushes.. some brushes are a solid color, while others have bits of transparency, or almost entirely transparent... |
