I have Photoshop cs. When I activate Camera Raw it comes on but it's display is bigger then my desktop. Does anyone know how to fix this. My monitor is 17 inch.

This has nothing to do with the size of your screen, it has to do with the pixel count on your camera. Most multi-megapixel camera now take a picture at 72 or 144 DPI.

So, with that in mind, a 3.0 megapixel camera takes a picture that is 1984 x 1488 pixels in diameter. At 72 DPI, this translates to 27.556" x 20.667".

If you go to Image -> Size and uncheck the "Resample Image" box, you can change the resolution to 300 DPI (for print) and the image size will be 6.613" x 4.96".

My question is: If you don't know this stuff, why did you spend $600 on Photoshop when you could easily get by using the photo software that came with your camera? Photoshop is designed by and for professionals who have a background in photography and graphics.

Why didn't you purchase Photoshop Elements?
