Can't get my transparent BG
I m trying to save my images with a transparent background but when I try to use them they contain a white bg. What am I doing wrong here. Please advise me. Here I have attached my screen shot at the saving point. Thanks!

in order to create bg transparency , ur image need to contain transparent pixels. so first delete the bg with help of magic eeraser. then when saving check the transparency option , choose matt the bg color where u r plannign to put the images.this is version 6 and above .In version 5.5 it was cool using GIF89a ..

i think in your case transparency option is deselected that why the fully tansparent pixels are fulled with matt color (which is white).

I can't find the transparency option in imageready? I could see it in PS and I understand no transparency in PS6. Could you kindly direct me where the transparent bg option is in IR?
Actually I previewed in IE and here attached is what I got; it clearly shows that transparency is on but then when I use it in DW MX on a web page, it shows a white bg? What am I doing wrong here? somebody help p'se. Thank you. Last edited by jamesbak : April 2nd, 2004 at 08:25 AM. |
