Can't use any of the tools on pics in Photoshop
For some reason the lasso, stamp, sponge, etc tools do not work on any of the pics I try to work on in Photoshop. I had previously made changes to some of the pics before without a problem. No I just get messages saying that no pixels or no pattern has been defined.
Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it? Thanks for any help.

Unlock the background layer OR create a new layer to work in.
