Certain filters grayed out at times..
Ok, I'm fairly new to Photoshop CS and I don't understand why certain filters are grayed out sometimes. I am creating an image right now and I want to apply a pixelate filter to a layer and it's grayed out along with brush strokes, artistic and a few others, yet a little over half of the filters are available. Why is this?

Hi MrOldie,
Certain Filters are greyed out when the bit level (8 or 16) is too high or the image mode is something other than RGB. Open your image go to Image -> Mode and check its RGB and 8 bits. ATB |
