Determine font type from a flat image?
Is there any way to use Photoshop to make a good guess at a font from a flat image? I need to edit a button but I don't have the PSD.
Edit: I actually got it this time around by guessing... but I'd love to hear about an automated tool for this if there is one. I feel like there's been a lot of stuff added to Photoshop recently but maybe not as much aimed at web developers (an image diff tool would be nice...). I don't know if there's anything like that in/for PS but I really like What the Font.

I also really like this tool, I had to use it myself, and it TOTALLY WORKED!!! completely unbelievable... it goes through and asks you a series of questions. it really helps if you have a specific word you are looking at in the font you want to identify. Fonts by Appearance Too fun! -Sel |
