Exporting PSD files to PDF

Hello,

Is there a way of converting PSD files from Photoshop to PDF files for use with acrobat - either using Photoshop, or using Adobe Acrobat 7.

Many Thanks, J.

Yes, you can just save them in photoshop as a PDF.

no prob! only thing is...it doesn't really work for saving multi-page PDF's all in one...i use Corel Draw 11 to string together multi-page documents.

Corel is excellent, i use it for all sorts of pdf documents, but make sure that you dont export full page graphics (ex. A4 TIFF) from photoshop to string the PDF, it wil come massive; rather, its smarter to reconstruct as much as possible in vector format, using the tiff graphics as backgrounds where needed. You can do that by choosing "place inside container" option.

obviously, this is a much longer process so just for future reference

Yep I discovered this this afternoon. I included a rather large .JPG graphic (maximum quality), and it almost crashed adobe when trying to view it - i shall try and import the image as a .TIFF to see if this helps.

Thanks again guys, unfortunately I don't have Corel at my disposal, but I only really need the .PDFs saved as individual files right now.
