Question Filter > Render > Lighting effects??

Hi All,

Hoping someone will be able to help me understand this a bit better

Im confused as to why the filter > render > lighting effects option is greyed out sometimes. I keep wondering what it is im doing wrong...do i need to select something I was working on one file for about 30mins trying to get the option to become available, didnt work, then i opened up an old .psd file and the option was there straight away...

Does the file have to be in RGB mode for the lighting effect to work?

Thanks for any help...

Cheers

Zzaj

Yes the file does need to be in RGB mode for the lighting effect to work.
