Can anyone tell me if there is a way to have a flash file transparent on a webpage? We have created a flash file but we need it to be transparent.

I am not sure if it is possible to make the flash background transparent. I have ran into this problem before in the past and what i did was make the background color of the flash movie the same color as the html page background color. But if the html page has an image as the background then i couldn't help you there.

This is completely possible, I use it all the time.
When you're about to publish your movie, go to the publish settings, go to the html tab, change Windowed Mode from "Window" to "Transparent Windowless"...and when you publish the file, you'll have the code generated for the background of the flash file to be transparent. ![]() -Zan |

All you'd need to change is the background color in the body...
