font looks pixelated

http://attila.sdsu.edu/%7Ehalac/images/37/37-middle.gif

I have tried to change the anti-aliasing on the font but the 37 still looks to be pixelated to me. Is there another way to make the font look smoother. I have tried none, smooth, strong....

Thanks,
Jason

RASTERIZE THE TYPE LAYER, control click the type layer, and go to select->modify-> smooth -> radius 4. Click ok
